General Pharmaceuticals Ltd (GPL), an ISO certified company, one of the icons of Pharmaceuticals industry in Bangladesh and a leading exporter through its excellent quality of medicine at competitive price and maintaining world recognized manufacturing facilities .GPL has started its journey since 1984 with the aim of providing innovative world class products to the healthcare systems. 

GPL  has manufactured a wide range of products, 418 in dosage form, in 2 manufacturing facilities and almost 4211 people are working. Our unit–01 is manufacturing the solid, semisolid, capsules, syrup, suspensions, and other preparation and unit-02 is a state-of –the-art factory, having the most modern ophthalmic & parenteral facilities, dedicated steroidal & non-steroidal facilities, HVAC system, SVP&LVP production facilities and ETP for waste management. The state-of-the-art factory, which master plan has been developed by APC, Australia is in compliance with UK MHRA, EU GMP, TGA, ICH, and PICS.

After meeting the local demands, GPL has explored its business since 2004 by establishing a Global Marketing department. As Bangladesh, which is one of the members of least developed countries (LDCs) we are having an enormous opportunity to manufacture any patent pharmaceutical products as well as export them to different countries at very competitive price. We have a dedicated team to prepare the registration and other documents in regards to the overseas registration procedure. Activities of our global marketing team are very organized and effective, as a result, our products have worldwide existence and global footprint of our company is spreading day by day. At present we are exporting our medicines into 26 regulatory and non-regulatory countries.
